生活｜当年很火的疯狂英语，大家还记得吗？
疯狂英语创始人李阳，最近再次被曝家暴，这次的对象从妻子变成了女儿。疯狂英语今天依然存在，今天是周末，和大家聊聊我当年学习的疯狂英语。
80、90 的读者可能对李阳疯狂英语会比较熟悉。05 年左右是李阳疯狂英语的高光和疯狂时刻，在各个学校进行演讲，售卖图书，搞夏令营。李阳疯狂喊出英语的样子也是深深印在了人们的脑海里。据李阳自述，他面授的学生达到了三亿之多，一个小时的收入就可以建一所希望小学。于是就有了下面这个logo。
今天来聊聊我当年学习的疯狂英语。肯定不是为了给李阳打广告，算是闲聊回忆当年的学习经历。作为互联网科技类术博主，也写不了太深入的评论性思想。大家就当看个故事。
外语学习的热潮
疯狂英语为何如此疯狂，和其他英语机构一样，疯狂英语搭上时代快车。改革开放后的出国潮，入世申奥是的英语热，英语的重要性不断被强调。很多人坚信学英语能改变命运。
其实这不是错觉，出国、高考、进外企、搞外贸。很多条能实现暴富乃至阶层飞跃的大道上，英语既是拦路虎，又是敲门砖，83年外语全分计入高考；而出国，普通家庭当时最受关注的还是学英语的钱途问题。90年代大量外企进入中国，创造了惊人的工资神话。90年代初外企工资能达到同行业的10倍。
李阳精准捕捉痛点，在演讲中喊出口号，从小教育你的小孩，学英语的目的就是两个字make money。毫不掩饰学习英语的功利心。试问一下，面对收入翻几番的诱惑，面对更多的选择和机遇，你会不会拼命学习英语。
疯狂英语的演讲
当下定决心学习英语的时候，二十年前的人会发现，从小没打基础，自学不懂方法，找培训也是两眼一抹黑。如果这时候有人告诉你，他从小成绩不好，英语常年拖后腿，但他在大学里找准了方法，勤学苦练了四个月，考四级成绩全校第二，你愿不愿意试试他的方法。具体可以参见李阳的百度百科。
他不断强化这套说辞，就是要营造这样一种印象，疯狂英语没有门槛，过程简单但收获巨大。在功利性的导向下，一套急功近利的学习方法当时很容易吸引到人。
李阳1994年下海，当时新东方的应搜已经破千万，疯狂英语能够迅速成长到和新东方相提并论的地步，李阳当时的策略功不可没。随后更是上春晚，当奥运会英语培训总教练。是那时候最火的英语老师之一，
标志性的高举双手，大声咆哮的练习方法。攻克英语等口号，现在看来充满槽点，但当时很多人深信不疑，并争先恐后地给李阳送钱。

我的疯狂英语学习
那接着谈谈疯狂英语对我的影响。
y1s1，我确实部分程度受益于李阳的疯狂英语。05年左右，我表姐高中，我当时初中。李阳当时到我们那边的中学演讲，表姐听了李阳讲座，当时就买了李阳疯狂英语一整套书籍，还配有全套的听力磁带。
我那会儿的英语不好，当时也有参加了一学期的英语补课，后来就没搞了，成绩依旧。后来拿了表姐闲置在家里的李阳疯狂英语教材，周末在家学习。
当时先是想背单词，但是发音不准确。于是改变策略，先学习音标，跟着5分钟口袋英语的磁带，一遍遍的读音标。音标差不多搞定之后，开始背单词，有些单词也不会读，还是跟着收音机的磁带学习，每个周末给自己定目标背多少。背了不用就会忘，后来就是不断重复，每周先是回顾前几周背的单词，然后再背本周的单词，这样效果就好很多了。
就这样花了很多的周末把高中常用的3500个单词都背了一遍，从 a 到 z，一个小册子都要翻烂了。接着开始学习语法，先是学习语法基础，然后是练习题。李阳的疯狂语法书练习题我做了不下三遍，用铅笔写答案，对完答案再擦掉。后来记得还买了星火英语的语法书，配合一起看。
语法搞完就开始练习写作，记得是初二的一个暑假，我买了新概念1,2,3,4。听录音，背文章，巩固了单词和语法的效果，学习更加标准的发音。记得新概念1,2,3文章都背过了，4好像没有背完，当时读高中了，就没搞了。
这样的学习过程还是比较顺利的，后来初中英语当然是遥遥领先。初中期间就把高考英语搞定，高中英语课基本没怎么听过（有些听不进英语课，真的是很随便就考第一）。中考英语记得是 146（满分 150），江苏高考英语 111(总分 120)，大一高分过了四六级。
直到现在，阅读英文文献、文档和相关的视频还是比较轻松的。中学时期的英语基础，确实让我受益。
家暴
但和人群的狂热相比，真正疯狂的是李阳自己。
2011年8月底，疯狂英语创始人李阳妻子李金（Kim）在微博上公开曝光李阳对她实施家庭暴力，并公布了数张照片为证引发热议。2013年2月3日，历时一年多的“李阳家暴门”离婚案有了结果。法院认定李阳家庭暴力行为成立，准予李阳和妻子李金离婚，李阳向李金支付精神损害抚慰金5万元、财产折价款1200万元。

他自称和妻子在一起是为了做家庭实验，而孩子也就是自己的试验品。
就算我打老婆，我仍然是个好老师，你看不出他对家暴有任何愧疚。

值得庆幸的事情是，社会用强烈的抗拒回应了李阳。家暴事件发生后，疯狂英语快速退烧，不仅上市化为了泡沫，北京大本营也沦陷。
疯狂后续
家暴事件后，李阳开始了自杀式自救。 13 年加入了营销公司安利，很多人以为他找到了归宿，但没几个月就跑路了。14年宣布皈依佛门，拜少林寺方丈释永信为师，但是只皈依不出家，继续教英语。当时还计划在少林寺举办英语冬令营，给僧人教授英语。难道是和佛祖抢人？

最近还有家暴女儿的新闻，李阳疯狂的行为确实令人咋舌。
一点感慨
高中时，有一位英老师对我们说，对于你们现在来说，不管英语语法还是单词量，基本是达到了巅峰。现在想来，确实是这样，我们学习一门外语，其实是学习如何学习外语。用正确的方法加上勤奋才能事半功倍。
而如今，互联网行业工作压力大，工作时间长，教育小孩的时间少。国家实施双减政策，对课外辅导机构进行大力整顿，实施素质教育，当年辉煌的新东方等培训机构市值锐减。不少公司纷纷取消 996 等强度的加班，作为家长此时或许可以抽出些时间分享自己当年的学习心得。

i have made a considerable amount of public english speaking in my life. i am often asked why the crazy english method is better than other methods or if the crazy english method will help all english learners. my answer is: the method will help the english learners because it is a perfect match with the chinese principles of diligence, self-help and determination. mere exposure to english will not enable you to speak english. if you want to drive you have to get in the car and drive, if you want to dance you have to turn on the music and dance, if you want to swim you have to jump in the water and swim. in fact, swimming is the perfect comparison to learning english. you can’t learn to swim by sitting in a room and reading books about swimming skills. in order to be a swimmer, you’ve got to conquer you fear, you’ve got to survive and suck in water, yell for help, you’ve got to lose face many times before you can make it. but, to be a good swimmer you’ve got to practice again and again. to be a great swimmer you have to practice for years until you can harmonize every part of your body and mind.

i have made a considerable amounts of public english speaking in my life, i am often asked why the crazy english method is better than other methods or if the crazy english method will help all english learners. my answer is, the method will help the english learners because it is a perfect match with the chinese principles of diligence, self-help and determination. mere exposure to english will not enable you to speak english. if you want to drive you have to get in the car and drive, if you want to dance you have to turn on the music and dance, if you want to swim you have to jump in the water and swim. in fact, swimming is the perfect comparison to learning english. you can’t learn to swim by sitting in a room and reading books about swimming skills. in order to be a swimmer you’ve got to conquer you fear, you’ve got to survive and suck in water, yell for help, you’ve got to lose face many times before you can make it. but, to be a good swimmer you’ve got to practice again and again. to be a great swimmer you have to practice for years until you can harmonize every part of your body and mind.
